Europe's 82 highest peaks in a single year

Last year, sport climbing’s former world champion, Liv Sansoz set off from her home in Chamonix with an ambitious target in her crosshairs. At 40, her plan was to climb all of the over 4,000 meter peaks in the European Alps within a year without aid of chair lift. That’s 82 in total.

Her crusade saw her ice climbing, mixed climbing, skiing, paragliding and even base jumping. She also fell into a crevasse, close to the Aletschhorn summit. Below is the full story.
