As you’ll have noticed by now, we’ve made a couple of changes here at Secret Compass, and so to celebrate, we’ve pulled together some of our favourite elements of adventure for the ultimate giveaway.
We teamed up with our friends at Anfibio packrafts (who’s rafts we’ve been using for years on expedition) to giveaway a spot on our River Tay packrafting expedition in Scotland and a brand new Delta MX packraft. We’ll also be chucking in a free print subscription to BASE magazine.
These guys are known for making lightweight packrafts. Their environmentally friendly original designs make for small pack sizes ideal for expeditions like ours. The Anfibio Delta MX is one of their lightest packrafts. MX stands for MultiCross, as the packraft offers enough space to fit a large pack or even a bicycle for your journey so you can ensure this is a really versatile raft.
River Tay Packrafting Expedition
Wild and remote, anyone who knows the the Scottish mountains well will have their own tales of true adventure. From the summit of Ben Lui, close to the west coast, this expedition will navigate a route from the source of the River Tay to its tidal limit at Perth. Exploring mountains, moorland, lochs and rivers, this is a fully fledged Secret Compass expedition in the UK and your chance to live out your own epic Scottish hiking and packrafting adventure.
If you still haven’t discovered BASE magazine, what are you waiting for? A free quarterly adventure print magazine covering the full spectrum of outdoor culture and adventure sports. This is essential adventure reading.
